I love this time of year in Asda!... They seem to stick loads of DVD's into their 'Cheap under a fiver' section so many they even take over an entire isle..

Ive only been alloud to buy a few but I got:

The RoboCop Trilogy (including the Directors Cut of the First film ) - £10
True Lies - £4
X-Men III - £5

and the best film to come out of the 80's

Dragnet - £2... Yes thats Two Quid!!:cool:

Theres LOADS more must go back next week!!! :D

I was working in there yesterday putting more of these out. Some fairly recent dvds are pretty cheap :)

I thought it was a bargain when I paid £5 for it a couple of years back but that is awesome, however I do have to raise you the Blues Brothers, bought in Tesco for the princely sum of £3. Certainly the best musical of the 80s bar none and one of the best films of the decade.

In Hanley (Stoke) theres a shop opposite HMV which has been doing bargains for a few months now under 3 for £10.
I bought 3 yesterday :
Young Ones series 1
Young Ones series 2
Prehistoric Park

There are also £1 sections and audio 3 for £10 etc.

picked up lock stock for £3 the other month :D.

Asda is great. You just have to go in once a week and have a good look. behind all the other boxes.

Robocop trilogy for a tenner?

I'd pay a fiver... And even that is only on condition that it DIDN'T come with Robocop 3, which was little more than an insult to the first two movies.

No Dragent in my local one :(

But I did get Hott Fuzz for £7, Naked Gun trilogy for £7 and some classic Prince - 1999 for £4 (CD).

Top Gun > Dragnet by a long, long, long way.

Dan Aykroyd> Tom Cruise (in the 80's)

I dispise any film from Tom Cruise's early catalogue, he was soooo far up his own jaksie he could see out of his own eyes!!... and I'm not a massive fan of his now!!...

Dan has had some of the greatest films ever to be made.. and he also wrote most of em!!..

Blues Brothers,
Ghostbusters,
Spies like us,
Dragnet...

Nuff Said!!
:D

And none of them better than Top Gun :)

Or Alien/s, Rocky, Die Hard, etc. His choice of words was 'best film to come out of the 80s' which could not be wider of the mark if he tried.
