Ashes of the Singularity Coming, with DX12 Benchmark in thread.

You tell me what i should look at and what i should disregard and i'll take anything you say to me as fact.

Only look at results that make nVidia look good, otherwise you'll incur the wrath of Andy... I did that once and now I only have 3 testicles left =(

You mean like including different levels of GPU's?

Yes, if you like. As well as both comparing stock and over clocked results.
I'm looking at the name of the forum and scratching my head as to why suddenly everyone seems so keen to ignore overclocked results.

As I said, I'm sure a proper bench / leaderboard will throw up some interesting comparisons.

I think Ive even recommended a second hand 290X to a few people recently as a good bargain choice
You might even find that 970 of yours snt quite so bad as you seem to be assuming :D

It may well turn out to be a pile of crap in DX12, i hope not its just cost me £270 and i like it.
Having said that i'm not a complete nOOb and know what DX12 will do for it as i have done some of it myself.

Frankly i don't give a #### if Green or Red is better as long as at least one of them delivers all that DX12 has to give, that is the one i will buy once my next itch bugs me. the colour of it is completely irrelevant, i think people who base their purchasing choices on club membership are _____.

Look, ASync is an unknown, few understand it completely, right now i wouldn't dismiss anything about it.
But the last thing i will do is make up excuses for Nvidia if they don't support this, what incentive have they got to put the work in if they have minions running round after them cleaning up?

Corrected that for you. :D

Some seem to have a hard time accepting that Async compute just works better on AMD hardware. The Nvidia defence team on this forum seems to be on overdrive.

I don't think anyone's ignoring OC'd results, but we've got nothing to compare Ti OC to other than Stock Ti. It's nice that you're getting a boost with overclocking, and it's entirely expected - but you don't need to keep rubbing it in our noses because we can't OC our Fury's yet, that's just mean :(

The bench thread Kaap's doing will be interesting though, seeing a wide range of GPUs and how they compare should be illuminating. Obviously some standardized settings will have to be decided upon for it to work though, as we have with the Unigine Heaven thread.

I don't know what all your angry posts are about, my 980ti is beasting all the FuryX scores I can find online and no one seems to want to post any in this thread :D

haven't seen you post any proof at all of `beasting` - so until you do its all hot air and ********.

Got fed up of not knowing what is what, so just bought it. Now downloading and will see how the mighty Titan fairs. Anything I need to know on settings?

All with DX12

1080p, "high" preset (msaa off, TAA mid, terrain shading samples mid, everything else high)
this is the one that extreme tech had the 980ti and FuryX both performing around 45fps avg.
high_preset.jpg

Custom; Everything on High, MSAA 4x
all_high.jpg

All the review sites are showing 45-47fps for the "high" preset... I get 60-61
I've asked if anyone with a FuryX wants to share their scores but no one has

Once voltage becomes available you can bet the fury x guys will come alive. As of now there is no point of them showing OC results as they are handicapped and know it.
