Asking for CCTV footage?

speaking on subway i was in there 30mins ago and a guy asked the time to who i think was his manager and this manager guy said it was 1.15. i looked at my phone and it was 1.30. the manager then stormed off, what an idiot
Im just glad i dont have a boss like that anymore

u probably can ask for footage. why didnt you before you were sacked?

I assume you're innocent?

My best advice is to go to CAB, they'll let you know your rights and help prepare you for a tribunal.

Ok i worked in security for a few years so i can help you out on this

You are legaly allowed to see it if you appear on it but heres the but

they can charge you an Administration fee to see it .

Our hard drives used to keep the footage for 30 days after which it could be recorded over.

Now some one i know got beat up at a club by a bouncer and it was all on cctv ,Funny enough the tape went missing (tapes should be kept locked up and limited access to certian people allowed )( Data protection act )

Anyways long story short the club was fined £5000
for not keeping the tapes secure.....Blah Blah

go and ask for the footage

Depends on your point of view whether im innocent or not. But the franchisee has certainly distorted the truth and now I have proof. I will try and get a copy of the recording!

I gave an unhappy customer two extra stamps. He is referring to it as misconduct and company theft. Just in time for my pay review yay

=/

what a complete nob cheese. most places would be proud what you did, try going higher up the subway ladder and get him sacked for being a tool

dude
you can type ergo you can get a better job than subways, RETAIL = LOSE tbh unless you have a realy sweet deal going on.

Didn't think of that, except the area manager just quit. I believe this certain store is going bankrupt aswell, interesting...

Noooo.... not the stamps.....

Damn that sucks. Probably not much consolation but if your boss was that much of a tool your better off out of there tbh.

EDIT- company theft <pah> sounds like good customer relations too me if that was all it took to keep them sweet. At the end of the day what are they worth? 1/3 of a sub or something stupid like that

Yeah he should have been done for GBH, you can't just stamp on unhappy customers you know :p

It take it stamps are refund/free of charge things that you then take over to the till?

Sounds like a ******, and best you're out of there...certainly OTT sacking you for that, not like you blew up in customers face or something.

In a letter he wrote, he said 10 stamps are worth £50.

I admit I wanted out but I need to claim JSA for a while longer, this isn't helping.
so what? 1 stamp gives them a £5 sandwedge?
I call BS
anyway, rather give em £10 worth of stamps than have a customer whos not gonna come back

they have to provide you with a copy, if they give you problems ask to speak to the data protection officer - they have to have one.

They can charge an admin fee but i think its limited to something like £10
