Can anyone here direct me to a good site that will host asp files for free?

If not are there any alternatives (that wouldnt take too long to set up) to asp for creating a basic search engine that links to an access database?

they are not free, but very cheap

The server(s) also in manchester, which is great as you get fairly low ping.

I doubt you'll find anywhere which will let you have hosting by the week. At minimum it'll be by month, most commonly by the year.

Bear in mind that you're asking for something for free that costs someone else money, so don't expect fantastic service. There will almost certainly be downtime and slow times during the 3 weeks you use it, and there are limits on resources (especially as you mention making a search engine, which can be demanding)

Thanks for that, its only going to get used about 5 times after that it will get transfered to a dedicated server.
