Asrock CPU Upgrade board

Oh yeah sorry i forgot, oh well i have found one now anyways but need more advice, i currently have an Athlon64 3400+, what CPu would be best for balance in performance and price on AM2 (I dont want to spend too much but would like a decent performance increase) Thanks.
For the money you'll spend on the riser and AM2 CPU you could almost certainly have a Core2Duo and motherboard instead.
eg. ASRock 775i65 takes AGP graphics cards and DDR RAM in dual channel. It costs £30 and an E4300 to go in it shouldn't cost more than £100.
If you need PCI graphics with DDR RAM it's a bit tougher, but the ASRock Quad775VSTA and Abit IP-95 both support that, albeit only with single channel RAM.
If you really want an AM2 then you want the fastest you can afford as I'm pretty sure there is no overclocking with that setup.
