Halo 3 had about a dozen when that came out, i remember distinctly the top 10 threads, 8 of them were Halo 3.

Why should he have to trawl through page after page of the "Official" thread? All he wants to know if people are enjoying it or not in one, easy to read thread. The official ones are usually filled with loads of info that you are not interested in.

Go to the end and read backwards. The start will be full of speculation and talk, the end will be people talking about the game. Easy really.
I did what you said and found out that some people have got the game, some have not, a guy has a monkey teddy thing and caramel digestives on his desk, discussion on weather it is a 15 or an 18 rated game and if you can stab civilians. That is all I found in the last three pages. No write ups on weather people like or dislike, just drivel, basically.
Edit: I actually made a thread similar to this one about Mass Effect. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about and why the game is going to be so good as I keep hearing, I wanted specific details. I got sent to the main thread and had a quick browse but all I could find was post after post about how people can't wait for the game to come out and that it is going to be amazing. The only details about it that I could see is that it is like KOTOR and that there are going to be 5 or so 'classes'.

Unlike you I went to Jerusleam & WOW! if you thought the opening city looked good, this is jaw-droppingly Lush! :notworthy
The rooftop exploration is getting much better now. More intricate & lots of guards to negotiate .... ie shoving them over ledges. :lol:
... and as predicted, the combat is much better too once you learn the counter-moves, which look great when you pull them off.
I also like the introduction of the Informer sub-missions. These are quite challenging & more like the rooftop fun you had in Crackdown.
This is now becoming a solid 8 outta 10, although I encountered another bug. No idea what caused it but suddenly my frame-rate at least halved & I had to reload my last saved-game to get it back running smoothly. A secret PS3 mode perhaps?
...and regarding Kristen Bell ... If you get in the right position during one of the cut-scenes, she uncrosses her legs & you get a flash of her knickers..... Maybe I should upgrade it to a 9 now?
