Hello,

I'm trying to assemble a new budget gaming computer and I will probably buy:

-processor: AMD Ryzen 3600X Wraith Spire
-Graphic card: MSi GeForce GTX 1650 super

Now I think I'll probably get a 600W or 650W Power supply, but I have no Idea what motherboard should I get, only that it should be an AMD compatible.
Which and how much RAM should I get?

any advice?

At least 16Gb DDR4 at 3200Mhz or above and a good B550 chipset motherboard.

You'd want the options to upgrade to a much faster CPU down the line and to have a very fast nvme SSD without a platform swapout so def B550 to get in on those 5 series a few years down the line.
 
A decent 500W PSU is plenty.
Also, check out the MSI MAG A520M VECTOR WiFi. I recently built a budget system with one, just £75.
 
For a budget build have you compared the cost of a 10400f and board compared to Ryzen, the difference in price can help pay for more storage, or a better psu etc
Also have you considered a 3600 rather than the 3600x, the 1650 will bottle neck both of them and there isn't much difference in performance for the extra power use and cost even if you have a better gpu?
 
It's not that the 1650 super is a bad match if that is the budget that you are aiming for, its just that the 3600 is capable of keeping up with a gpu upto around the AMD 3070 and AMD 6700xt, it starts to bottle neck around the 3070/6800 in some games at 1080p. At 1440p it will manage a 3070/6800 well. This means if you want to upgrade the 1650 at a later date the 3600 can manage a more powerful card, especially at 1440p/4k
