Also do yourself a favour and grab Content Manager. It'll make everything a lot easier, especially installing mods.
The free version will do for now. If you like it and want more functionality, simply donate literally a couple of Euro to unlock the full version.

I'd seriously recommend getting this edition if you can. The base edition is ok to get you started, but you'll find it very limited if you want to do stuff online or join this TT thing
You can't join servers that contain content you don't own + there's some very cool stuff in all those DLC packs.
If you just want the base game, you can find it for about £7 elsewhere.

It definitely is an Oculus issue, despite it only affecting AC. I had the same thing on and off a while ago, but it seems there are a few people having this very same problem since the latest Oculus update.
Have a look at the last 2-3 pages of this thread on RD for some ideas.
Oh, and FWIW I'm still running a clean version of 399.24 drivers. We have pretty much the same build aside from mobo.
Use DDU and then install the older driver, I guess.
I'm not saying newer drivers are the issue or anything. Just saying they still work for me and that we have the same CPU/GPU/RAM for whatever that's worth

Edit2: That was a blast, lol. the 312T likes to squirm under braking into the corkscrew! It got into all kinds of shapes but quite predictable which is nice. Lots of understeer though and the gearing seems a bit long but I haven't delved into the setup yet. This is gonna be fun.
What assists are you using? (I used mainly the "racer" preset but adjusted tyre wear and mech damage to 0 for my practice laps).
We run factory assists on the server. That means that if a car has adjustable stuff like TC/ABS, then you can set them to whatever suits you.
If a car has no available assists, then that's that.
Stability control is always off and damage is set to 50%. Tyre wear and fuel rate at 100%.
Autoclutch/autoblip is also available for when you're driving a manual car, but don't have an H-pattern shifter. I think you may need to check those boxes in your own settings before joining the server.

We did it in the previous season (Round 4). Granted, that was quite a while ago...
Honestly, while Spa is great, it's been so rinsed out by all the GT3 online servers that I tend to avoid doing it these days. it also tends to favour the faster, more downforce oriented cars, so makes a varied car selection a little more limited.
While I do like to get some of the more popular tracks on here, I also like to do stuff that doesn't crop up too often, as it makes things more interesting and can introduces people to new content.

It's got traction control and a crap ton of downforce. Just have faith and put your foot down.
I was having fun doing some laps earlier and figured I might as well make a vid while I was there.

I hear that. I had to do it myself recently after I noticed I was getting about half the rightful performance in AC - and ONLY AC
