Assetto Corsa

I think that foggy/condensation effect is supposed simulate driver breath, I saw it mentioned on another video.
Personally I don’t like it and would turn it off. (Probably possible in an ini setting)

I bought this game yonks ago and could never get on with it, installed, tried, deleted twice. Even with a wheel etc. Went back to Automobilista and Raceroom.

Now after trying some of the controller settings posted on here and learning more about those cryptic settings; by gum, its night and day. For those OCUK members who have shared pad settings, thank you! :)

When you get the controller settings right, I can now see why its such a popular series. Even with an Xbox Pad, takes lots of tweaks but once you get it right, its very good. It will never be (as any racing sim) as good as using a wheel, but for casual, I am finally really enjoying.

Now very tempted to try ACC.

Before you go any further I 100% recommend getting a wheel and pedals, it transforms the experience. I had nearly 1000 hours driving in AC until ACC took over along with Automobilista 2. They are all amazing with a wheel. Just wait until you get a Reverb G2...

Controller with a sim is a real no go as your missing out on the physics nuances.
You really are missing out on 95%+ of the sim.
I understand if you dont have a wheel but do yourself a favour and grab a cheap wheel/pedals set.

Defo get yourself a wheel and pedals, even entry level. It's not NFS, FORZA or Gran Turusmo, you'll be amazed by the difference.

Assetto Corsa is still a wonderful sim, the sheer amount of mods on offer is truly remarkable. I've been putting together a few videos of late as I'm getting back into after having a break from iracing. I'm enjoying it so much again. Looks and sounds incredible if you prepared to put a bit of extra faffing into it.

I've got a few vids up if anyone interested, a few guides on how to install etc. I won't shamelessly put everyone here, but a few key ones here thrn if you want have a look at others.

Totally agree, I am huge into AC, it's literally endless with the possibilites. I've tweaked my game and CSP quite a lot and made my oww ppfilter and .lua

One question, what driver model are you using there? and can I get a link to download it please? (hands without gloves)

Thanks (lurker here but decided to some up at last haha)

I like to tinker with the mods and swap bits about too, few of my latest shots..

Started to make cinematics too, excuse the poor compression on youtube, still trying to work out why youtube/what settings I can alter to make it better, source file on PC is fine. Video is just a test for now.

I'm not usually a fan of overly post-processed images, but agree with the comments above. They're all great.

As for the video, I very much approve of the music but the editing feels very relaxed in comparison.
