AstraWeb down?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I didn't see the need to create a new one.

Is anyone experiencing slow speeds with Astraweb? I usually get 17-19MB/sec on my server, but I'm down to about 1000K/sec for the last week.

are you in Astrawebs server farm?

I havent noticed but then again my speed is a lowly 830kb/s

Its fairly speedy when its working Just tried the US server and its worse.

Seems ok from here, using eu ssl and filling my 15Mbits/sec downlink (about 1500KBytes/sec) as usual.
As oxide implied, are you getting units mixed up? You wouldn't have been getting 17+MB (bytes)/sec on an ADSL connection!

Been getting upto 20 Authentication Failed errors before a connection finally gets through on the SSL connection.

working great here, using it right now and just got 1223kb/s which is pretty good considering i don't normally get anymore than about 950

this is using ssl-eu.astraweb.com

working fine for me using ssl euro servers. getting 6.7 megabyte per second download speeds.

As I said, it has a gbit connection to the data centre of which 100mbit is allowed for Internet traffic. I guess they're not enforcing the 100mbit quite so strictly.

working fine this end... still getting 12meg off it right now/
