When did you first get into this Toryglen-boy? Is it just a hobby?
when I got the 300d back in 2005 I got a subscription to the eos magazine(renewed it at the 1st renewal but if I remember correctly didn't renew at 2nd renewal), in that they had an article on the 20Da(modified version of the 20D especially for astrophotography). I think they do modified version of others in the range tho I've never personally(sp?) looked.

My Father in law has a Meade LXD55 6" refractor & LXD55 10" Schmidt-Newtonian. I/We have just not had the time (yet) to do any real astro photography, but any help / pointers would be appreciated

I have the same Skywatcher 200p but mines sitting on top of a poor mans EQ5. Havent even got the drives for it yet . . . .
Those HEQ6 mounts are pure sex. I would love one when I can afford it. They are so smooth and above all quiet. I was at a starparty in spring and decided I must save up and buy one. I have currently saved £3.86. Aww.
