ASUA Q Codes ?

OK so lately I have been noticing "66" on the LED that's on the Mobo , It's not showing all the time though...just here and there the Code thats usually showing is "AA"...and the only change I have made is to add Team Group Orange 2400Mhz 8Gigs of RAM

I have googled about, but depending on where I have looked depends on what the code means , anyone have any ideas please ?

Check in your motherboard manual. There are different codes and meanings depending on the motherboard. There are just as many status codes as error codes, so any code may not be a problem. It may just be letting you know what the board did last.

Mine has different codes to show if it's successfully booted, or come up from sleep, so just putting your PC to sleep and waking it up gives a different code.

I did have a quick flick through ..couldn't see "66" as such...but I'll give a more in depth look in the morning..when I'm more awake .

That code means DRAM training at Post.

If its stuck at this and fails to post DRAM cant be trained at the settings you have made. If it passes this and posts normally then its absolutely not a problem and usual on all ASUS boards.
