Hi,just making sure that the all Asus A8N32-SLI motherboard's should come with a thermal pad attached to the rear of the board. The reason i ask is that a friend has bought this motherboard from a competitor and it has no thermal pad attached to the rear of the board & also the Asus serial sticker on the box has the following A8N32-SLI Deluxe <GREEN> does this mean that its a refurb?

Thanks in advance.

no...the 'green' means it complies with Euro standards for recycling or something like that. I had an A8n32-sli and I didn't have any thermal pads on the back?

Cheers for that,i had one earlier this year and it had the thermal pad fitted to the back but this one doesn't.The pad sits on the underside of the board where the memory slots are soldered in.
