Anyone had one of these whats your opinion?

i have one running on my ROG board with q6600 cpu.
not tried o/c it yet..

opinions please :)

There are a couple of reviews (here and here) which say this cooler performs really quite poorly (but looks nice).

Instead, I would go with a trusted unit like this that is known to cool well and do it quietly (though it doesn't look as flash).

My opinion? it looks ugly! lol.

As cmndr_andi says, its not great. But as you already have it, no harm done. I wouldn't expect the best temps/OC with it!

im not overclocking too much jus a tad for now just for tests as ive got no need for the oc at the moment as all im doing is a bit of gaming.

we will see how it goes

I recently purchased one of these and seemed to handle my Phenom 1090T reasonably ok, clocked at 3.6GHz. Unfortunately it didn't like it any higher than that so opted for one of these:

It has a push/pull system in place (popped a random fan I had lying around on it) and with the CPU at 3.89GHz and 1.45v, with IBT running the temp doesnt go above 50 degrees so was well happy :)
