I'm just finding it hard to believe that was damaged in the post. How bad was the package when you received it?

i can say that wont have got damaged in the post. did the cpu socket have a cover on it. if so wont get damaged unless something hits the plastic cap hard.

If you RMA it I'm sure it will at least look at it so you probably wouldn't get very far.

If the board wasn't sent with the plastic protector fitted for the CPU socket then the sender has been pretty negligent.

A lot of e-tailers insist those are fitted if returning motherboards.
