Asus CPU level-up

As you can see in my sig i have an Asus Maximus Formula 1 mobo, when i was looking in the bios at possibly OCing i noticed at CPU level up option and i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it and whether its worth using it or OCing the old fashioned way?

i have a asus rampage extreme 2 mobo, and last night i used the level up to go from a i7 920 2.66 to a 965 3.2. worked like a charm, and is great for now till i delve more into the OCing and go for the 4.0

CPU level up is an i7 only thing, it's based off intel turbo boost which is not available on s775 so you neeed to overclock the old fassioned way

use the bios instead..
