new to asus drive xpert so was wondering is it any good? Is the super speedy function (raid 0) reliable, safe? Not in terms of redundancy but the program and the the motherboard generally?

What i am considering is using two 1.5TB samsung F2 eco drives; would i get a performance gain over my 3TB Segate ST3000DM001?

since drive xpert uses the marvel controller would that affect the running of my SSD? i have ahci enabled with intel RST just concerned about conflicting controllers/drivers?

Also i dual boot so would that complicate things with the drive Xpert process? I heard about leaving a raid array in an "inconsistent state" was bad and if i don't have drive Xpert installed or only use it sometimes on the secondary os would that damage my array?

Are there any drive/partition limitations because i may use 2x2TB drives totally a 4TB partition?

No way i'd risk 3tb of data to a RAID 0 array unless backed up regurlarly. So glad i got tons of drives back when they were cheap and run mainly RAID 10 with backups.

Ok may forget raid for now can someone tell me since drive xpert uses the marvel controller would that affect the running of my SSD? i have ahci enabled with intel RST?

Also are there any limitations of the single drive Xpert port using in normal mode since i am considering buying a 1TB veloci raptor and don't want the port to limit the performance?

Finally would i have to install the drive Xpert software if only using in normal mode? Thanks
