ASUS E45M1-I DELUXE Mini ITX motherboard

Should be out within the next month or so although not sure if Overclockers will stock it. Still waiting for them to get some Llano mini-itx boards :(

A 50MHz clock bump on the cpu.
Slight upgrade in graphics 6310 to 6320.
and
Turbo-core which can bump the graphics clock from 500MHz to 600MHz.

Not a lot.
Ask in the customer service section if they know if they are stocking them.

Would this board be up to the task for 3d bluray playback with HD Audio Codecs?

Seriously considering this for my HTPC so it could be silent

Ooh I am torn between this and the E-350 version. I guess it will come down to price in the end.

Anybody know will the boost from 1333 to 1600 help the GPU much or will the difference between the 350 and 450 be negligible?

I'm not sure. All I know is my current AC Ryan PlayonHD Mini has a 500MHz CPU and it plays Blu-Ray ISO and MKV without breaking into a sweat at all so I would imagine this motherboard would not have any issues.

I am waiting to see the prices because I suspect the E450 will sit somewhere around £130 - £145 which is too much and in which case, might be pursuaded by the E350 if that is reduced.

Some places are listing it for between £120 - £150 although they don't have any stock

Yeah ... me thinks I might try and weigh up whether it is actually worth the extra cost. I mean, I know the E350 is more than enough for what I want to do, it's just the question of whether I wait a little bit longer for the E450 or not. Of course, the E350 has been tried and tested so there is some re-assurance there and new products bring potentially new problems :)
