Asus EAH 6850 DirectCU

Yes both overclocking memory and tuning the timings improves performance and efficientcy. I an not sure those dimms will clock too well though. Try 10-11-11 at 2133 first 1.65v.

Ok, thanks for all the help 8pack. You helped me a lot of the last couple of weeks (and i know i ask a lot of dumb questions)

After saving the changes and exiting my system would start up then reboot every few seconds, so i had to reset cmos in order to fix it. Is pressing the clr cmos button on my motherboard i/o the same as removing the cmos battery? Because its a lot of hassle having to remove the battery everytime

Ran a full run through on Unigine (Heaven DX11 Benchmark) and this is my results, just wondering what you think. Is my user defined fan settings ok? Temp seems abit high or will it not reach that in games

*Temps while playin DayZ are around 73c, fan kicks in pretty loud around 70c (50%) but when i tab out it drops to 60c and the fan drops down. Is it bad for the fan to be constantly changing speed?

Adjusted the fan speed at 70c to 60% and after about 20seconds of Unigine it locked up and showed a rainbow pattern all over the screen. Not sure why changing the fan speed would cause this, on the settings before it was fine
