Hmm, not really interested in this card, I imagine it'll be a driver/game compatibility nightmare.
I am interested in the power consumption and the mxm modules, hopefully we'll see laptops with these (single/crossfire 3850s) in very soon!

i don't trust PCPro's reviews - way too basic and half of the time they seem to get it wrong from an enthusiast's point of view... That said, i am somewhat surprised that they don't intend to make the card a mass produced card...

Don't see the point to this card.... sure, its cool, but firstly if its water cooled only, am sure it will hardly sell.

And they really need to sort out shared memory. Now 3 GPU sharing one lot of memory will be a lot more interesting.

And a while ago they were saying it will never reach the shopfloor.

Lots of dual/multi GPU cards lately, there's the 3850X2 as well, I suppose it's the only way AMD/ATI can compete atm.

That's an amazing increase in performance.

Come on, for three cards I would have thought they'd want better performance out of it to warrant it's use. I don't really see the point to be honest.

I'm guessing that actually means 139% *extra* performance, not 139% of the performance of one card.

the figures here are entirely a guess but 1 GPU = 0% extra (obviously), 2 = ~70% extra, 3 = the quoted %139 extra.

that's what I read, ASUS only did this as an exercize to prove it would work

They are competing on price, features, multi gpu compatibility on a wider range of mobo`s & drivers every month.
And that why they will be getting my money.
