I downloaded Windows 7 RC 64bit today and have installed it on my second hdd. When i insert my disk that came with my Motherboard, P6T SE, it says that disk is not supported. So i downloaded EPU-6 Engine from the net and it errors on the install. Has anyone got this to work with Windows 7? If not is there any news of support for it? I like the apps you get with the Mobo, EPU-6 Engine, PC Probe ect. If im gonna update to 7 fully, id still like to use these.

Thanks.

you dont need it anyhow...overclock your motherboard from the bios...asus epu-6 just lets you select performance and turbo etc...once you overclock from the motherboard epu-6 is disabled anyhow

I have got it installed by running the EXE through the Win7 compatability wizard. The application is installed but it doesnt seem to have any effect on the fan speeds. They just sit at mid speed regardless of the 6 engine settings.

On my P5Q Pro under Vista 64-bit I got it installed using XP compatibility mode and it could control the CPU speed. Not sure about fans though because all mine were plugged in through fan controllers anyway..
I don't bother with it now because I can get far better speeds through BIOS.

But worth trying compatibility mode if you really want to use it.
