Asus G73JH

Anyone know where to get one of these aside from ebay. It was on a major retailer's site until this morning then they said it was Temporarily out of stock and has now been removed from their site.

Yeah I was also watching that.

For me it was a tossup between the Asus G73 and the Kobalt G890 or the Kobalt Commanche.

I guess now the decision is which Kobalt machine do I want

I saw another laptop made by another company that is doing one with a 500gig HD with a 3x SSD Raid 5 and a GTX 280. Was tempted by that.

I just won £5,000.00 and want a new toy

The G73 was pretty much a paper launch! Only a handful of USA suppliers got a couple which went straight to pre-orders. Newegg got a few but wont ship to UK.

If you really want it then the US will be getting another shipment 2/3/10 and you can get it shipped over, I cant tell you which suppliers but many will ship to the UK and Asus gives a 2 year global warranty.

I am sure it will hit our shores at some point but you will pay hell of a lot more for it, I have seen it at £1750 for pre-order (as opposed to £1350 shipped and customs charges included)

Decided to go for Kobalt instead G890 with dual sli, 250gig SSD, 4 gig ddr3 ram etc etc
Came to £2.7k getting delivered on Saturday hopefully.

Thanks for the headsup SnoozE had been checking them out for a while but they didnt have the 18incher on the site, checked today and they did. Huzzah
