We any closer to an official date for the Strix OC yet mate? Only thing official I can find is still there press release stating "end of march" and you have said around mid april before now but just wandering if anything has been set in stone

Friday will be the last day of March

It's driving me mad lol. If I'm getting anxious I feel sorry for the poor guys who had to deal the the 1080 embargo :)

I've hit that dam Pre-order button yay !!! but for the MSI GTX 1080 Ti .. I messaged MSI UK on facebook not a single reply, then a few others asked the same question when will this start shipping, No comments at all from MSI, Some other e-retailer mentions the 14 April. I would have gone for the Strix but its dimensions wont fit my old case.

Spoken with Asus this morning regarding this card, as its OcUK's no.1 selling 1080Ti, no surprises there as its pretty much the best 1080Ti out of them all anyway.
The good news is yield rate is fantastic and Asus are hoping to clear all our 200+ backorders in April with stock to spare, this is in no way a guarantee but is great news compared to the 1080 launch where some people were waiting three months for their Strix OC cards and longer, anyone buying now should all being well have their card mid-end April. :)

Don't really know where to ask this but I pre-ordered this exact card exactly 1 week ago ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-O11G-GAMING. I got the confirmation email and the order status is processing, but the money hasn't been taken yet I just wanted to know if this is how pre-orders are handled on OCUK or if my order has somehow been cancelled. Also I can't seem to successfully send a webnote through the merchant OCUK website to ask this question so thats why I'm asking here.
