ASUS Lightscribe problem

Hey guys, i bought a ASUS Lightscribe drive about a month ago now, its just been sitting in my new pc while i wait for my other bits to come.

Anyway just thought i would have a twiddle about. So i connect the power lead to the ASUS Drive including the IDE cable and the drive dosent seem to work. So i take the IDE cable out and when i do that the drive works, it opens Anyone know why when i put the IDE cable in it dosent seem to work?

Incase i do have to RMA it how would i do this, send it back to overclockers or ASUS ?

Have you tried a different IDE lead or used it on the other IDE port (assuming that there is one on your motherboard)?

Your first contact would be with OcUK for the RMA since they sold it to you fairly recently.
