hi everyone i want to upgrade my computer with a AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 940 if i get a Asus M4A79 Deluxe motherboard will the AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 940 work on it or do i have to flash the bios

and if i do have to flash the bios can you recommend a good board that i dont have to flash thanks in advance stephen
 
Hello Stephen, I've ordered this exact combination this week on the assumption that they will work out of the box, without needing an indecent exposure to a new BIOS.

I'll let you know if there is a problem!

Stephen, i have that board forsale Asus M4A79 Deluxe in the Members Market for £105 inc delivery at the moment. It's only just over 1 month old, boxed complete with all accessories.
