I have 2 x OCZ Agility3 120Gbb SSD's and I want to set them up as RAID0. I understand from the manual that the RAID sets are Ports 1-4 and you can also set 5/6 to RAID if going to RAID 5/10.
I have 3 other SATA devices 1 x DVD/RW and 1 x 1Tb, 1x 2Tb drives that I use one as a data drive and the second as a backup drive to image my SSD and data drive in case of failure.
My dilemma is that I want to add the second SSD and RAID0 the 2 x SSD's but I don't want to use all 4 SATA ports as this will not leave me enough SATA ports for my two HDD's and my SATA DVD/RW. So can I setup the ports 5/6 as the RAID0 with the SSD's and keep the other 1-4 ports as AHCI?
And if I can do this, once the RAID0 is configured I will re-image back to the 222Gb (as reported by Windows) drive from the image taken from my initial windows install on the 120Gb SSD. Will I need to install any drivers or will Windows recognise the setup?
