i have an i7 2600k and use the asus built in cpu level up setting to goto 4.2 or 4.6 ghz and am getting allot of lock ups and reboots.

is it best to do it all manually as i cannot see how asus can get every setting correct for cpu and ram with the built in bios option over doing it manually.

btw i'm using this ram

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-082-PA

rated at 2133MHz RAM Speed, CAS 11-11-11-27 Timings, 1.5-1.6v VDIMM

thanks in advance

Manually is best, go to bios set the multi to 45, set the memory to what it is supposed to run at or use the xmp feature (not sure if that will set it up to 2133Mhz), cpu voltage, try manual with an ''auto'' setting in the box where you input the voltage.

Oops, didn't realize this was in the ask 8 Pack section.

^^^^ Feel free to answer man!!

hyperst is on the correct path.

Reset Bios.

Enable XMP.

Set 45 Multi for 4.5
Vcore 1.3 ish
DDR 1.6v
PLL 1.65
VCCSA 1v
VCCIO 1.05

Reboot and see how it goes.

In digi power also set LLC to High.

This should be fine for 4.5 on SB.
