I'm due to update my CPU to a Q6600 along side a clean install of W7.
I've been using my stock bios trouble free for 18 months (I dont know the revision no as i'm at work atm), so I'm considering updating my bios.

Does anyone know which is the prefered BIOS to run, as I've heard some bad things regarding the latest 1403 revision?
Also what is the best method of flashing? I've no floppy drive so I imagine I'll have to boot from USB, however I've never flashed a MB before.

Cheers

You can load the BIOS onto a USB stick and use EZFlash from within the BIOS when you boot up. It's a nice simple process and it's explained quite well in the manual :)

Thanks. Now I just have to find my manual :)

So does anyone have any info on the best BIOS?
