I've got the maximus ix hero any way to turn off the lights after shut down?

Download Asus Aura and that will allow you to set things your way.

Theres an option in the bios under the advanced tab, I cant remember what its called but its pretty obvious when you find it. "RGB Lighting" or something along those lines

If you use the Asus Aura software you can control the light patterns and colour. EG: my theme is blue so I have set the LED's to permanent blue and there's as few pattern choices too.
