I currently have the abovementioned mobo running with TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO.

I want to upgrade to a 2GB kit and i would like your recommendation...This mobo is Very picky with RAM and the max voltage I can get from the bios is 1.95v... I have learned the bad way...ocz gold 5400 created a myriad of problems

I would preferably like to upgrade to 800mhz memory but most of them require 2.1v to operate.

Strangely enough under corsair's ram configurator both of these modules are listed as compatible although the first requires 2.1v to work at c4

I would appreciate your opinon.....Please recommend only tested modules with this mobo as I wouldn't like to spend my money on something which won't work.

Memory needed for ASUS M2N-E

Could someone please recommend an 800mhz DDR2 2gb kit that will work fine with this motherboard.

The DHX PC6400 or XMS PC6400C5 versions are the best PC6400/DDR800 memory for that board as they operate at voltages the M2N-E can supply. And, you are correct on the C4 version, it does require 2.1v to operate properly. Thank you for pointing this out, I will have it corrected.

I've also made the same question at the official corsair forum...

Just got a message from ramguy saying that he would update the Ram configurator..

Anyway Thanks both of you for you time and advice :)

I'll go for the cas 5 version

I ordered the cas 5 version Twin2X2048-6400C5DHX....should arrive tomorrow

Question regarding bios settings: Should i manually change the ddr voltage to 1.8v or set to auto before installing the above module?

Voltage is currently set to 1.9v for my Twin2X1024-5400C4pro

or should i just leave it at 1.9 as it is???
