First question whats the diffrence between setting up the Intel RAID Setup and the Jmicron RAID setup?

I set up the Intel RAID Setup and funny enough i didnt have to install any RAID Drivers, i just accsessed the config and made it into a RAID Array and it was done, why didnt i have to load any drivers?

I tried the Jmicron setup, in the motherboard manual in the RAID Setion it saids at POST press CTRL and J so i did but nothing comes up, hopefully someone can help me out.

Thanks.

I'd stick with the Intel one. problem with the Jmicron one is that it is only two ports and one of those is external and iirc the internal one is in a silly place.

As for accessing it, is it all enabled/configured in BIOS?

That sounds odd, I definately had to install drivers for mine. (lol, in the end I had to buy a floppy drive and floppy disks just for it - didn't really want to go through all the trouble of slipstreaming) Can windows see it or install onto it? Is the IDE configuration definately set to RAID?
