well ive just recieved my IDE 2 SATA converter, and it doesnt show up in bios, probably wouldnt bu ti think it should, i go into windows, and oh, wheres the drive gone, hmm its either faulty or theres somthing wrong with my pc, im gona try all my sata ports, i dont need to set up raid or nefin do i?

I've bought a SATA DVD-RW, not had any problems really. Just the current DVR-RW goes back in my mac

how much was it, and what model ??? just in case i cant get this soding converter working

ATA to SATA? SATA to ATA won't work IIRC.

It was £25 IIRC, quicker boot from start to Windows splash. Just need a sound card now

well it was advertised as to be plugged into the back of my ide hdd/cdrom/dvd etc, then into a sata port on my mobo
mybe its not compatibible with cd-rw drives
