Asus P5n-E Sli Boot up problem

well my new psu came at 8am this morning

850 watts of gamer extreme and still no post

i had the fatality mobo come today

give that a go :) lol

ill let you know on my results
 
well as i say i tried the new psu and it still didnt post

so i installed the fatality mobo instead, swapped everything over and it worked like a dream

everything was the same, psu, ram, cpu etc etc

and it worked 1st time... posted and is now being stress tested over night by othos


so im off to bed a little happier then i was last night :)

on a minus note cant get raid to work with vista now lol... keeps crashing... seen my thread in general if anyone as any ideas

going to try xp with raid tommorrow, once i get a floppy installed :)
 
This is the exact problem I had same symptoms and everything and I took off the Cpu cooler re applied the AS5 and re-seated it and it worked fine.

My bet is on the slightly dodgy curvature found on some of these boards on the CPU socket.
