has anyone had any issues with this board and G-skill memory?

just noticed, this thing has an 8 pin 12v connector, what's that all about? I presume it is for xtra juice for the cpu, but i'm sure my antec neopower doesn't have a plug like that, just a 4 pin jobbie, any light ?

Used G Skill HZ @ 1T and Ballistix @ 1T

You should be able to connect the 4 pin plug to the middle four holes of the 8 pin socket and everything will run fine.

thanks guys, I've been AMD so long I'm well out of touch with the intel kit, learning hat well and truely on now!!
