Hi,

i received my P6t today and have a question regarding wiring up the PSU to it. It has a 8pin 12v socket at the top of the mobo with a plastic cover over 4 pins, now the PSU i have (a Zalman) hasn't an 8 pin connector, just a lot of 4 pin connectors.

Question is, do i fit just one 4 pin connector to the mobo or two. I've googled this and the answer seems rather vague and photos of peoples build don't help either.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can use either one 4-pin or two 4-pin. Two 4-pin will make the system more stable. Most PSU don't have 8-pin connectors, but they do come with many 4-pins. Look closely and you will find two of the 4-pins have kind of identical look and way to go in the 8-pin socket.

Great, thanks :)

I had taken a look at the 4 pins as you suggested, I was just unsure whether putting in both might have damaged the mobo seeing as there was a cover over 4 of the pins on the mobo.
