Asus P8P67 Update!!!

Im having trouble when i get to overclock section with this bios as when i set by each core it does not save and it sets itself back to all cores with the 1053 it saved.

Also when i get into windows on the properties page it is telling me its running at a 3.30 not the 4.4 i OC'd to ?

Is anyone else having issues like this ?

Yep, although luckily for me I just use all cores.

Is there a way to go back to the old bios i was using because when i try flash back it tells me it is outdated :( ?

Not easily I don't think. Was investigating last night as this BIOS appears worse than 1003 to me. Why is everyone raving about it?

Yep its defo worse

I just got up to my computer sat in sleep mode and soon as i brought it out of sleep it gave me 3 bleeps :(

Want my old bios back so if anyone has information on how to roll back bios please help me out here :)

Thanks

So you asus owners are still having problems even after the latest update, i was going to change my msi back to asus but dont seem its worth the hassle if you guys are still having isseus.

Does anyone know if you can roll back the bios on the P8P67 Pro ? This one has messed up my system up despite trying to reset the CMOS :(

sas30uk....try setting the c1e; c3 and c6 states to enabled, under cpu config. They are on auto in this bios, but enabled on previous bios.
I've mailed Asus regarding any rollback options, although this one works fine with these changes.

Ok Bito i will give a reboot and check it out.

Do you know if it helps with the per core settings in manual OC ?

I can not for the life of me get it to work as when i set it to manual OC and then per core and reboot and then go into the bios it has defaulted back to "all cores"

Thanks a lot for the info anyways i will go do my bios now :)

Well just went and done what you say Bito but it sadly does not help my "per core" problem.

However i decide to set the setting to XMP and all cores to 50 but it blue screened after booting into windows.

So i set it to 49 and got to the 4900 mark doing a intel burn test and passed.

My settings are as follows

XMP
49
and all other settings in the OC section are as default as i set my bios back to default and then made the 2 changes.

See screenshot at www.uniquegamers.com/4900.jpg

Think I'll be sticking with 1003 for now as it's working fine for me, with the exception of the Wake on RTC function, but I can live without that.

sas30uk....Along with the above settings, try the following:
EIST- Enabled
Turbo Ratio - Enabled

Ai Clock Tuner - Auto
Turbo Ratio - Per core Not OS
CPU Ratio Limit - (To whatever you wish to set it to)

Bito thanks for the info again mate but what would you recommend the ratio to be for me wanting to OC to 4.4 as iv never used the ratio setting so not sure about what to set that to ?

Thanks.

Many thanks Bito iv been trying all day to do that lol

I now see my problem was the Ai Overclock should have been set to Auto instead of Manual :)

Lets hope this bios is a bit better than the last.

Only thing i have a problem with now is that i cant bring the system back from sleep mode with this bios but i can live with that for now.

Many thanks again Bito :)

No problem :)
We can compare settings for sleep mode issue, if you let me have yours, as mine is working fine.
