The analogue audio options, should you really not want to use HDMI, are in sections 2.3.11 and 12 of the manual - i.e. the front panel connector must be used for the +2 side channels, the rear 3 being stereo giving up to 5.1.

So presumably jack sensing will switch the Line In and Mic inputs to centre and rear outputs then?

And no, I'm unlikely to be using HDMI for audio out for a portable gaming rig.
