Was using this screen for awhile now all of a sudden I have two dead pixels two black dots

the device is now out of warranty only by a few months Asus won’t assist is there anything I can do to try and fix them.

There are some programs (+vids) which keep flashing different coloured images to try to "wake up" those dead/stuck pixels, but there's nothing guaranteed to work.

There's also websites that do a is it a dead pixel or a stuck pixel test too

A lot of these stuck/dead pixel fixers are just not worth the time. Sometimes you can tap the screen and they go I've had that. I had the same monitor and one day I noticed a big group of red ones down the bottom to the right and was most alarmed. Funny thing was two days later and they had gone, never returned. Usually you have to live with it or cut your losses and sell.

Yeah I’ve tried all the pixel tricks and they’re usually for stuck pixels ie either blue/green or red but these are black so actually dead just can’t believe two appears over night and they’re central.

Thought ASUS would have some sort of goodwill
