Hmm... I think you might be OK with 660 SLI... In games that scale well you should see performance which is somewhere between GTX770 and GTX780 level.

Loving my SWIFT, question though one more of curiosity than anything; If i'm pushing an average of 55FPS is there any point going SLI because with g-sync on its butter smooth so I can't see any clear advantage in going SLI or am I missing the point somewhere?

I guess you're really only doing 55hz at that point, if the monitor can do 144, why not! :D

Would a pair of 660's in SLI work ok with this monitor?

Should be fine, I run mine with a single 680, which is a bearable framerate in most games and those that I play competitive in I just play at 1080p instead and still get the benefits of gsync/144hz or ulmb while having a great desktop experience for work.
