Asus ROG Swift PG329Q

Do you have anything to take good photo showing it?

Got a D.S.L.R but it would not get the close up detail. It may be some optical effect, look at it straight on, looks like a single pixel, shift closer its like a little linked cluster, not all at the same depth, 3.d effect.

I did a clean install of the graphics drivers as games software is clearly effecting it. Gone (for the moment).

I also checked online, few people reporting similar issues, green or red stuck pixels, all monitors with the same refresh and oc. all g-synic related.

Sure its the monitor but as the G.P.U is new have to wait see if it happens again plug my old system and 1080ti in, see if the issue persists.

Only thing worked out its g-synic and its affected by software as it alters behaviour depending on game and you can predict exactly when or how long it will appear disappear, flash or remain static.

Regular as clockwork.

Maybe it's part of some kind graphics overlay which is getting shown by error in certain situtions...

That thought went through my mind. Although not with the current pixel cluster its far right bottom of the screen and 'ragged'

When I checked online couple of users reporting what look to be the same issue. One person noted, the pixel disappeared when the mouse cursor went over it. Another complained of a red pixel appearing dead centre in the screen.

I got that when I first fired up the monitor. Red dot centre screen, when I fired up a game, it moved with the cursor. At first I thought I must have hit one of the crosshair cheats in the o.s.d but I had not altered anything, never use the gaming cheat stuff: whatever it was dissapeared never to return. Juist put it down to a weird random glitch and forgot about it.

Who knows, odd rag bag of glitches, some software, some possibly hardware or simply driver imaturity. Probably not all related. Worst issue is gone for the moment, if it returns test with different system and card, hopefully narrow things down.

But for the moment, g.p.u driver clean up seems to have worked. So hopefully a resovable software issue.

Immposible to work out cause from correlation, its happened twice now, each time imediatly after firing up a fresh install of an ubi soft game. Ghost recon last, Assasins creed valhalla first time it happened.

Almost certainly chance but who knows? Does seem to be consistant and software related, so if it occurs again, should have a better idea what is going on.

Yeah, I waited for that Acer XB323UGP...

tharealgc presuming this is a yes. Is the image quality on par with Asus? I am just arranging a return. Got a disco strobing cluster of red pixels earlier on. Had enough, intermittent g-sync issues it would seem that is the cause.

I don't get notification from this forums, so sorry I was late...
Yeah the quality is on par with Asus, but to me it feels even better, maybe because of 10bit at 170hz instead of 120hz in Asus...

Wow that was late, I still have the Asus, I stupidly held on to it. Pixels disappeared Am actually just about to send it back for a replacement. But it was an utter waste of money. Q.C is a joke won't make the same mistake again.

Just been one long hassle, a range of really odd intermittent issues. Was tempted last week just to bin it and pick up something else.

Holy thread resurrection!

I've had one of these for a while and I was watching a YouTube video. All cool. I went to switch over to my laptop and I could still see the last frame on the YouTube video. interlaced with the rest of the screen.

It was even more noticeable because one system is windows and the other is a Mac, and I could still see the Mac Quick launch icons. Only 3 months old
