Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ

For the price this is bound to be, they'd better have sorted the ghosting issues early showings of this monitor exhibited, which I would not hold out much hope for.

it was first shown at the last CES this year and had no such issues

That's not true... numerous reports of people seeing it exhibit ghosting. I believe someone even pulled up testufo on it. Whether this was due to an aggressive overdrive preset, who knows, but it was there regardless.

If you're getting shoddy build quality on your RoG monitors I would stop buying Chinese knock off's

I have a PG278Q and a PG279Q and the build quality is top notch and no bleed so w/e

...With your luck I hope you're buying lottery tickets each week.:p

That's nothing man, I picked up an LG 34GK950F-B from B-Grade and that has virtually none too!!! Just a tinnnnny touch in the bottom left corner, I can more than live with that :D

Their were 2 in there and both gone, the other bloke probably got one with massive bleed :P

Sigh maybe X34p or the Acer X27 ?

If you're desperate for a monitor, but you may find the features of the X34P lacking when the PG35VQ lands... it does have an impressive spec, but I'd personally await reviews. We don't even know the price yet, and there is a big question mark over the ghosting/smearing issue which is something virtually every VA monitor on the market suffers with. If it does, the X34P may be preferable... but then again, if you get one with bad bleed/IPS glow, you won't be happy. The X27 is £1750... if you can afford it and have a 2080Ti, sure, why not.

There is also the Acer Nitro XV273K. Could be worth a look.

Thanks for your advice dude I really appreciate it, my 2080ti arrives tomorrow.
It’s so much for a 27” monitor but all the reviews say it’s awesome!!!

I did see a video with an asus rep saying the 35” will be a little more than their 4K 144Hz panel! Which is crazy!
