Asus ROG X570 Crosshair Dark Hero Release? *** NO Competitor Talk ***

Is it worth updating the bios on this bios (i'm on 4201) as I use windows 11 if that mates any difference.
as with all patching you get risk. I'm a bit lazy with bios patching unless I read release notes and want the fix (e.g. new bios's have security fix/may slow you down slightly, but I went for the one that improved 5800x3d support). if you have old bios you need to read back as its cumulative. bench before & after

think I will stick with 4006 then.

Just updated my bios a few days ago as I read the edc bug had finally been fixed - edc bug being introduced it must be over a year ago now - where if you wer manually overclocking and increased the EDC power to above 140 it would cap the axis voltage to 1.425 - limiting single core boost

Fix was introduced in agesa 1.2.0.A - which was bios 4501 and newer (4602 being the only newer version atm)

Can confirm the edc bug has been removed - for anyone else here who has been waiting for this fix
