ASUS STRIX GPU usage high it idle?

Hey guys,

Still playing around with a 1070 (which im loving so far) from the MM..

My only concern is that at idle.. The GPU speed is at 97% and the temp of the card (with fans off) is 51c..?

Can someone shed some light on this for me, cheers!!

Using MSI AfterBurner, apparently ASUS Tweak software is pants.

High idle temps because of 0% fan mode.

High idle clocks because of 144hz desktop.

These are what I have with my 980ti anyway.

Idle clocks are around 35-37 without fan assist according to AfterBurner.

Im only on a 75hz monitor atm! Much more "comfortable" temps readings, AB FTW!!!

The temps with the fan off should be around 50c as that's how 0dB fan works lol. No issues here using GPU Tweak and high idle clocks.

With fans off, my idle temps are way lower than the 55c i was getting, so feel more comfortable even though they can function 100% at what temps i was getting.
