Asus website is stupidly slow.

Hi, all of the major motherboard manufactures websites have slow downloads at some point. I use them all and I've never found Asus to be any slower, or quicker, than any others. It's down to not downloading at peak times, also remember that other factors will influence your download speeds, also you aren't connected directly to the Asus site, you could be going via anywhere..

I started downloading the latest 450mb Express Gate file from them at about midnight last night. It was still downloading when I got up for a wizz at 6.30am.

Tho that must be some kind of record for staying connected to them.
 
Funnily enough the Marvell networking drivers were the easiest to get as they came through on the recommended list of the Windows Vista updater, not sure why though?

I went into device manager and checked the exact details and they were indeed the correct Marvell Yukon network drivers.
