Asus Xonar D2 Or Asus Xonar D2x ?

I'm looking at getting a new sound card and apart from the interface and the name I can't figure out the difference, Which one is newer ?

Any info would be much appreciated

They are both the same apart from the interface, the D2 is PCI and the D2x has a bridge chip to convert it to PCI-E x1
