Asus Xonar DX Problems..

Hi,

I've just purchased a ASUS Xonar DX and I've installed it into my PC and plugged in my speakers, I installed the drivers and now when i try opening the xonar audio center an error comes up saying 'can't find any device'. There's no sound coming through whatsoever. I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

The card shows up in the device manager with a small error sign next to it.

I'm using the unified drivers.

Any advice?

were did you get the drivers from off disk or internet

Did you connect the power to the DX.

Have you tried the latest Asus drivers, it's usually best to start with them before playing with the unified ones.

i assume you've plugged it into an old pci slot and not a pci express slot?

I've tried the drivers from the Asus website gives the same error. I've powered the card with a floppy connector from my power supply and I've installed the card into a PCIE x16 slot.

I've tried the card on windows 8 with the unified drivers and it worked straight away after installing the drivers without any problems.

Any idea why its not working on windows 7?

Still got this problem, can anyone give me some advice on what I can do to get it to work on Windows 7?
