ASUS Z68 cold boot issue and crashes with 4 dimms

I'm using 16GB 4x4GB GSkill 1600. I haven't changed the vccio voltage so it's whatever the default is. Runs fine with 2 dimms installed but crashes when I try with 4. I did say I have tried "everything" but I'm going to have another go tonight following the post made on the ROG forums.

It's strange because I was running with 16GB stable for over a month then all all of a sudden my pc froze up, starting rebooting itself in loops and the only way I could get back in to Windows was by removing 2 of the 4 dimm modules.
 
you might need to fully clear cmos by removing mb battery for 30minutes,load optimized defaults after then re enter your bios/oc settings

im using 16gb samsung green memory at stock vccio and no issues,but needing a touch more vccio is normal
