My car was pulling to one side, so i jacked up the car and found 1 wheel was barely turning so eventually i got some new calipers and its running quite well now.

How ever i am still pulling to one side, moving forward i pull to the right.
in reverse i pull to the left. if i let go of the wheel it will turnabout 90 degrees in length of my drive way

Ive had tracking done twice already.

tire pressures are spot on, on both sides.

Pads and discs are less than 5 months old.

so am out of ideas?

car is a mg zr/rover25

Sounds wierd, when u turn the steering wheel when still do both wheels move at the same time etc?

Something completely off the wall, if you jack up the front end slightly with the car in gear does one wheel turn and not the other? i.e is there a drive shaft issue somewhere and only 1 wheel is powered?

Sounds like something is seriously wrong to cause that much steering movement. Checked shocks and springs etc? Or a seized caliper somewhere else on the car?

Get it in the air and see if you can find any movement in the suspension. have you had new track rod ends?

This. Ive driven a couple cars that pulled right on acceleration and left on the over run due to excessive play in a track rod. the same could apply to any severly worn suspension part (ball joint, bush etc)

doesnt appear to have any movement in track rods at all they arent new but they seem quite good condition.
As for suspension its quite firm, no loose bits or excess bouncing.

As for ingear and jacked up, 1 wheel spins other dont in 1st gear and reverse as i move up in the gears they even out and both move about equally. i kind of thought it may be a differential issue but i dare not think down them lines :(

No other seized brake parts on the car been around twice for good measure

Has this been happening since you bought the car or since a particular point?

Has the problem gotten progressively worse or almost always been the same amount?

Could be damaged suspension, bent wheel/s, bent chassis anything.

Car ever been in an accident before? do you know the history? had it from new?

my drive is on a slope with a lean to the right which is making things sound worse than they are, however on a normal road it will turn about 40 degrees by itself if i let go.

never had this issue till about 2 months ago, i wouldnt say its got anyworse since it 1st appeared.
dont no any history other than since its been with me.
cliped kerb with back wheel at 2mph or less so dont think that would do much if anything at all

I put the back wheels to the front for a wee test still had pulling.

Only other thing i can say is when i do some hard accelerating 4k+ revs in i hear a whrilling noise, sort of like noise you get when reversing quickly, but quieter.

only part i think needs replacing on suspension is anti roll bar drop links but i wouldnt think they would cause anything like this?

If you get to say 40mph and take it out of gear and freewheel on a level road to a stop, does the car gradually slow down, or slow down fairly rapidly?

I dont know, i will try that in the morning and report back.
i guess idealy it should be a gradual slow down if all is well?

Yes thats the idea, if it slows down rapidly then it'll indicate some friction or binding of something somewhere potentially causing it to pull, if it doesn't then you can almost rule brakes/bearings etc out.

If you let the car go down to rest (0 mph) as the car comes to final rest/stop you should be able to also tell at this point as you'll feel a gradual stopping force of whatever may be binding etc if this is the case, if it comes to a constant gradual stop with no feeling of resistance then again that side of things i.e. brakes must be ok, it is imporant that this is done on a flat level road (if you can find one)

Take pads out. Does wheel spin freely like you'd expect? If it's still stiff, I would be looking at the wheel bearings.

If not, then look at the discs for warping. (did you buy cheap discs, or sit at the lights with your foot on the brake a lot?)

Also.. are you sure the wheel is mounting correctly? Do you have dirt or corrosion on the inner wheel mounting surface, or maybe lost a spigot ring?

Beyond that, it's like has been suggested, track rod ends (or tie rods if you have them), ball joints (easy to check for play with those), any bent components (as above wishbone etc.)

Something simple, check your rubber bushes for wear.
Check your suspension components are working as expected.

p.s. Have you checked that the rear brakes are binding?
