ATCs, and now Windy! Soldam gone bust.

Thats right, most manufacturers dont really care about the quality of the case just the profit they can make on them.

But if you owned a company, what would you want? Money or the minority having a case that they will buy once for a premium of build quality?

Its all about balance, quality and price. This is why I like Antec, and the PC7+.

Coolermaster, Silverstone and the others are there to make profit, simple as. Ask people in the street and I guess about 1/100 or even less say that they would spend £200 on just a case.

I would not be suprised if Lian Li would be next.

Coolermaster went to "cheap" side of things, but I like thier Mystique 631 case.

The more I see the mystique the more I like it. 2 x 120mm, all aluminium construction, tool less design, doesn't look THAT bad in comparison to a lot of cases I've seen. If I was in the market for another case and had enough cash, I might consider one of these.
Anyone want an ATCS 200 version 2, windowed side panel and exceptional external condition :D

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

SOLDAM CORPORATION

For all purposes Windy is gone, as it will never have the level of quality again, and will go the way of coolermaster.

Lian Li actually make money on the cases, so I do not see them going bust as yes they do make their wacko cases, but they do sell a fair few of them for OEM manufacturers aswell, especially when you look back over 7 years of PC mags. :p

That's the US branch though, Yewen.

The Japanese headquarters seem to be back in business, even though Bablefish translations are rough around the edges.

I imagine the US branch may remain dead. Depending on how profitable it was the first time around.
