Ati 12.6 problems?

Another newbie-ish question from me :S... Basically I have two 7850s in crossfire and for some reason when I try to update to 12.6 it seems to install but then the screen turns off and doesn't turn back on.
From what I understand, the drivers aren't being replaced properly for some reason? The screen is meant to turn off as the graphics drivers are deleted but 12.6 is not replacing it for some reason? Help please?
 
Had the exact same problem on a laptop last night. 12.7 betas work while 12.6 failed to update any drivers then crash later.

Also the bug displaying 12.3 ccc is still present - but they do at least work :)
 
I had a problem with 12.7 CAP1 on crossfire. Card 2 ran 10/15c hotter on idle, but was the same under load. Uninstalled it and it's fine. It made me worry my card was broke or something.

I think they hire chimpanzees in the driver department for cheap labour.
